3 fresh new food spots to dine at this weekend
A new Italian opens at the Dubai Mall, Common Grounds goes Pho and Jean-Georges launches a vegan menu…
And if you’re looking for somewhere fresh to head to this weekend, we’ve rounded up three spots we reckon you won’t want to miss out on.
From a brand new restaurant making its debut at the Dubai Mall with a very enviable terrace, to a Pho menu launch at Common Grounds, and Jean-Georges adding a host of vegan dishes to it’s offering, here are three restaurants to check out this weekend.
The brand new: GIA
A new Italian restaurant GIA, has just opened at The New Fashion Avenue at The Dubai Mall. Created by Tuscan born executive chef, Tommaso Gonﬁantini and led by Chef Fabio Tramontano, the menu focuses on fresh ingredients, with some imported directly from Italy. It’s a modern space inside the dining room, but we’ve got our eye on the outdoor terrace which has fantastic views of The Dubai Fountain.

A new vegan menu: Jean-Georges
Adding to its already extensive menu, Jean-Georges Dubai has launched a brand new vegan menu. Available 7 days a week for lunch and dinner it comprises of three sections; ‘Light & Fresh’, ‘Warm & Hot’ and not forgetting those all-important desserts.

A new menu: Common Grounds
Common Grounds Mall of the Emirates is dishing up a brand new pho menu this March with Vietnamese inspired dishes such as Tiger Prawn pho with prawn broth, glass noodles, galangal, roasted red chilli paste, pickled red chilli, lime leaf, kang kong and chilli marinated cucumber. The good-pho-you dishes are low in fat and designed to supply you with several key vitamins and minerals, fitting in nicely with a healthy-eating plan. They’re available until April 7 and dishes start from Dhs50.
