Scared of flying? There's now a course for that...
The Flying with Confidence course currently boasts a 98 per cent success rate.
Are you a nervous flyer? According to a study commissioned by British Airways, one out of five residents has a fear of flying, so the airline is bringing a one-day course to Dubai in a bid to banish those flying fears.
The Flying with Confidence course is split into two sessions over a single day, and currently boasts a 98 per cent success rate.
British Airways Captain Steve Allright, who has already helped more than 50,000 attendees confront their aerophobia will lead the course on Friday June 1. In the sessions, the pilot will address common areas of apprehension, such as the functionality of the aircraft, the causes of turbulence and the technical aspects of air travel.
Participants will also receive breathing advice and learn relaxation techniques to swap pre-flight and on-flight jitters for excitement and comfort.
Plus, all course participants will earn themselves a 10 per cent discount on their first British Airways flight. A discounted flight that’s fear-free? Sounds like a good deal to us…
