Beachfront destination La Mer is getting a budget hotel
Rove La Mer will have an all-day restaurant, outdoor terrace, and beachside food and beverage spots…
Affordable hotel brand Rove Hotels has revealed its plans to open a property in Jumeirah 1 beachfront district La Mer.
The 366-room Rove La Mer will cater to “value-conscious modern travellers”. It is set to open in mid-2020, just in time for Expo 2020 Dubai.
As you can see here, it will be right on the beach:
And check out the surf-inspired hotel lobby:
All rooms will feature 48-inch TVs with a smart media hub and free high-speed wi-fi. Other facilities include a 24-hour convenience store, outdoor pool, 24-hour gym, and self-service laundromat.
Rove La Mer will also be home to all-day restaurant The Daily, as well as a lobby lounge, outdoor terrace, and beachside food and beverage options.
“La Mer is one of Dubai’s popular attractions, fast-evolving as the place to be for leisure and relaxation,” said Rove Hotels corporate director of operations Paul Bridger.
“Rove La Mer draws on its distinctive location and offers visitors a great place to unwind. The picturesque setting of La Mer and its youthful vibe will make it a preferred hotel, delivering value across all touchpoints, for tourists and UAE residents.”
Rove currently has five hotels in Dubai – Rove Downtown, Rove City Centre, Rove Healthcare City, Rove Trade Centre and Rove Dubai Marina.
La Mer, which opened in October 2017, is home to more than 100 shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the new Laguna Waterpark.
