1. See a superstar DJ spin

Superclub Base Dubai is set to bring DJ heavyweight David Guetta to Dubai this Thursday October 25. Entry is Dhs300, with ladies receiving a welcome drink. 2. Soak up the sun with a ladies’ day

There’s a new ladies’ day in town every Thursday at the V Hotel. Running from 12pm to 5pm every Thursday at the V Deck, ladies can enjoy complimentary entry with a towel and sunbed alongside free-flowing Frose cocktails. Then, from 5pm to 11pm, ladies can enjoy a further three free cocktails with the V Deck’s ladies’ night offering.

3. See a top Italian band live

4. Kickstart the weekend with a ladies’ night

Chief mischief maker Frank the Bear is introducing a brand new ladies’ night at his Toy Room, and it launches this Thursday. 5. Party at a festival with a cause

The annual Sunset Festival is back this month for three days of free entry partying – and this year it’s got a sustainable theme. There’s set to be a sustainable pop-up bar, ‘zero waste’ workshops and an organic open air gallery of structures made from sustainable materials. Sam Feldt will headline on Thursday, while Sam Feldt will take to the stage on Friday.

6. Head to a family-friendly festival

Just in time for the cooler months, Dubai’s Al Seef neighbourhood has announced a huge festival will take over the destination from now until the end of the year. The Creekside spot will transform into an al fresco festival complete with carnival rides, live music a petting zoo and pop up market.

7. Work up a sweat with the Crown Prince

The fitness initiative launched by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, is back this weekend, and will run from October 26 to November 24. Kicking things off will be a huge carnival at Dubai Festival City, complete with free classes, talks, competitions and a huge fireworks display on Friday evening. Just like last year, there will be a whole host of activities you can take part in over the 30 days such as walking, team sports, paddle-boarding, yoga, cycling and more.

8. Tuck into a tiki brunch

The Cheeky Tiki Brunch is a brand new brunch by Trader Vic’s JBR and it’s kicking off this Friday October 26. Expect Trader Vic’s favourites such as sushi platters, Singaporean noodles and those lip-smackingly good cheese balls all shared to the table, washed down with unlimited beverages.

10. Take the kids to a free football training session

After Manchester City Football Club’s record-breaking Premier League win and Carabao Cup victory last season, City fans from across the UAE will be able to see both trophies this weekend at Brighton Collage in Dubai on Friday October 26. 14. Pick up a bargain at the world’s biggest book sale

The Big Bad Wolf Books Sale will take place from October 18 to 28 at Dubai Studio City sound stages 2 and 3.
