Ladies’ days, house nights and some huge festivals…

Hot on the heels of some of Dubai’s top al fresco venues, Soho Beach has announced it’s set to re-open its doors on Friday October 19. The venue, split into a lively pool club and huge events space is promising a weekly rotation of ladies’ days and top house events, as well as some mega festivals.

It all kicks off on Friday October 19, where fresh from a season of hosting weekly parties at Ibiza’s now legendary Ocean Beach Club, HotBed is set to take over Soho Beach every Friday. It’s set to be a day-to-night party of house music, live percussion and sax, that kicks off with DJ Danny Langan.

Then from Saturday October 27, ‘Pareidolia’ will be Soho Beach’s weekly Saturday event. The party brand born out of Tulum, Mexico, will bring their electronic music parties to the shores of Soho Beach with a weekly changing line-up of international DJs.

To begin with, Soho Beach will only open on Friday and Saturday, although more weekly events – including a new ladies’ day – are set to be announced soon.

But if it’s Soho Beach’s big production festivals you’re looking for, the first two of those have been announced too.  On Friday October 26, Chilean- Swiss DJ Luciano’s legendary party brand Vagabundos will make their Dubai debut at the huge event space.

Then on Friday November 2, it’s the turn of legendary house label Defected Records to bringing their famed Croatian festival to the shores of Dubai for a day-to-night party, kicking off at the earlier time of 12pm. German DJ Claptone will headline, supported by Danny Howard and local talents Adam Graca and Mar + Mer. Tickets are now on sale for Dhs150 via

Soho Beach, Meydan, 12pm to 12am, Fridays and Saturdays, from Friday October 19. Tel: (052) 433 3375.
