Ciboney’s will be home to a restaurant, three bars and a stage that will feature live shows…

As well as being the financial centre of the city, DIFC is fast becoming the foodie centre of the city. And it’s set to further cement itself as the best place in Dubai for international dining with the arrival of a new restaurant early next year.

Ciboney’s is described as a modern Caribbean restaurant, and it’s set to open its doors next month in Capital Club DIFC. The homegrown restaurant promises sleek interiors, a lively atmosphere and relaxed, sharing style dishes.

Ciboney’s, which takes its name from a term used by the Arawak and Taino tribes who were some of the earliest inhabitants of the Caribbean islands, features refined, colonial style interiors, a neutral colour palate and traditionally inspired furniture.

The kitchen will be helmed by Chef Collin Brown, who was born and raised in Jamaica, and the menu will draw on his heritage, with a heavy focus on refined traditional Jamaican dishes.

As well as the dining area, there is a raised stage which will regularly host live bands and artists, as well as three bars, including a hidden bar which will serve unique concoctions to those who can find it.

Ciboney’s will add to a relatively small collection of Caribbean restaurants in Dubai, joining the ranks of the likes of Ting Irie and Miss Lily’s – which are both known for their top Jamaican dishes.

We look forward to checking it out.

Ciboney’s, Level 3, Capital Club, DIFC, daily 12pm to 2.30pm and 7pm to 11.30pm, bar until 3am, opening January 2019.
