Burj Khalifa named among world's most visited attractions
The Dubai landmark even beat out Buckingham Palace…
Dubai’s very own Burj Khalifa is one of the world’s most visited attractions, according to Uber.
The global ridesharing company has put together a list based on its most popular destinations in 2018. The Burj Khalifa sits in sixth place, beating out Buckingham Palace, Disneyland, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
According to the study, the Empire State Building in New York is the world’s most visited attraction by Uber passengers.
The top three countries which clocked the most miles with Uber drivers in 2018 were the US, Brazil and India.
The Burj Khalifa currently stands as the world’s tallest building, at a staggering 828 metres tall. The tower cost around $1.5 billion to construct.
Uber was first launched in Dubai back in 2013 and has since expanded its services to include UberEats and UberChopper, its private helicopter service.
