From Greek exports in Jumeirah to a dedicated fitness beach club in La Mer…

In 2018 Dubai’s beach clubs saw some big shake-ups. El Chiringuito and Nasimi Beach both closed their doors, while a new trend of ‘beach clubs’ emerged – which weren’t even by the beach, such as Soho Beach and Drai’s.

But 2019 is set to see the return of the more traditional beach club, and plenty of them.

From The Palm to La Mer, here are four Dubai beach clubs set to make their arrival in 2019

A slice of the Greek party island of Mykonos is headed for Dubai, as Nammos beach club has announced it is opening in the Emirate. As well as serving up chilled out beach vibes by day, Nammos is known as a lively party spot for top Mediterranean dishes, and also hosts one-off beach parties by night. We hope it brings them all to the Four Seasons Jumeirah early next year.

Train Beach Club

Train Strength and Fitness is Dubai’s largest fully equipped gym, and the Al Quoz gym is set to expand into beach clubs early next year. Promising Dubai’s first fitness inspired beach club, Train Beach Club can be found at La Mer, and will feature a gym, pool, beach access and fitness restaurant.

St Regis Beach Club

The St Regis Beach Club will open alongside a new St Regis hotel on The Palm sometime next year. The beach club will feature an array of dining options with Nakheel, the developers behind the project, promising ‘fusion concepts never before seen in the UAE’. The luxury beach club will also be home to a state-of-the-art gym and fitness, super-sized infinity pool on the seafront and some stunning views of the Arabian Gulf.

O Beach

It’s one of Ibiza’s best known venues, famed for its huge pool parties and legendary champagne spray shows, and Ocean Beach Ibiza, which recently rebranded to O Beach has announced it’s opening in Dubai next year. When it opens in Dubai in the Autumn of 2019, the venue will be only the second O Beach in the world. A location is still not yet known for the new beach club, although an exciting announcement is expected soon.
