This looks epic…

If heading to Hatta wasn’t already on our 2019 bucket list, it is now.

The heritage site, found in the mountains about an hour from Dubai, is the chosen staycation spot for H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum this week.

Dubai’s Crown Prince is known for his love of adventure, as well as excellent photography skills, so it’s no surprise that he’s headed to the mountainous spot – and that he’s been keeping his social media followers up to date with his adventures.

As well as posting pictures of himself hiking and kayaking, he’s also been camping on the banks of the Hatta Dam, sharing pictures of the stunning landscape by night to his Instagram stories.

“Away from the city” Sheikh Hamdan captioned this stunning shot of himself hiking towards the sunrise.

Hatta has fast become the go-to spot for some rural adventure for Dubai residents, so we love seeing Dubai’s adventurous Crown Prince taking advantage of everything on offer.

Hatta has recently become home to the region’s first ‘trailer hotel’, a stunning glamping retreat where visitors can camp along the banks of Hatta Dam in luxuriously appointed trailers.

We wonder if that’s where Sheikh Hamdan was staying…
