The La Mer waterpark will be closed for most of February due to scheduled maintenance work…

If you were planning on hitting the water park next month, then it looks like you’re going to have to miss Laguna out until a little later.

Dubai’s Laguna Waterpark at La Mer, which opened last May, is due to close its doors for three weeks for scheduled maintenance.

The general maintenance will take place from February 3  to February 22, with the park set to open again on Saturday February 23.

Laguna waterpark boasts the only WaveOZ 180 Florider in the GCC region, which is a unique surf machine of which there are only three in the world. Laguna is also home to a slide tower, family raft ride, restaurant, ice cream shop and a pool lounge, which will also be inaccessible during this time.

But not to worry if you had your heart set on this waterpark this February – as there are so many more to choose from across the city. In Dubai alone, you can check out Aquaventure at Atlantis, the Palm, Wild Wadi at Jumeirah Beach hotel, or Legoland water park at Dubai Parks and Resorts. Or if you can travel a little further, Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi is a great option in the capital.

However, if you are planning on going to the Laguna waterpark towards the end of next month, then tickets cost Dhs99 when bought in advance online or Dhs125 on the day. Cabanas are additional, and charged separately.
