Any guesses who’s made it to the top spot four years in a row?

For the last four years, Emirates have topped the list of being the most popular brand in the UAE, according to findings from YouGov BrandIndex Buzz.

The data ranks the brands with the “most positive buzz” over the past year by measuring the public’s perception of brands on a daily basis, using a range of metrics.

After Emirates, Samsung has been ranked the UAE’s second most popular brand, followed by Whatsapp., “Arguably the big story is the increasing power of the Samsung brand”, YouGov said in a statement. The electronics brand has faced an impressive leap up from 6th place in 2017.

As you can see from the list, there has been a great rise in the popularity of technology brands in the last year, and it likely to continue that way into 2019.

2018 also marks the first year in a while that a real estate firm has appeared on the list, which could be attributed to the decrease in Dubai housing prices.
