Great for food lovers, art fans and shopaholics, Kulture House Dubai is the new concept store on the block…

Retail shop? Florist? Coffee shop? Art gallery? Those are simple concepts and Dubai’s shoppers aren’t simple: They’re more demanding, more socially aware, and more conscious of what’s on offer when it comes to eating, shopping, and being entertained.

That’s why brands need to sell a lifestyle. Which is also why so many brands are embracing the idea of a ‘concept space,’ a cafe, shop, gallery, or space that brings a brand to life.

One such concept is Kulture House Dubai. The brand new multi space cafe and store housed inside a Jumeirah villa (right next to concept store stalwart Comptoir 102) and is currently in its soft launch phase. Here’s a look inside…

The shop

Most of the colourful items for sale have been imported from Morocco. Think, beautiful crockery, and apparel, as well as perfumes and candles.

The cafe

The cafe takes up a large portion of Kulture House space with a mix match of rattan chairs, colourful poofs and stools, with a few comfy booths and a long communal table with majlis style cushions. It’s bright and inviting with a Marrakech rooftop dining feel.

The menu is simple: there are all day breakfasts featuring a creamy labneh shakshouka (Dhs50), a burrata fig salad (Dhs69), Jalapeno eggs Benedict (Dhs50) and a mezzeh platter (Dhs55) featuring olives, honey, whipped ricotta and feta and tahini and harissa oil, served alongside meloui bread. Meanwhile the coffee served comes directly from Sum Of Us beans, Encounter.

The gallery

Just passed the hanging chair (perfect for insta snaps), there’s a narrow alleyway with framed pictures of the UAE royal family.

Walk through it and you’ll enter a small gallery space exhibiting a handful of large hand-picked Middle Eastern paintings, many courtesy of Pro Art Gallery.

The florist

And just at the back of the store homegrown brand Fleurology sells beautiful handmade bouquets.
