We wonder what they talked about…

Jackie Chan touched down in Dubai on March 19 for a whistle-stop 4 days of filming in the city for his upcoming film, Vanguard. But despite an action-packed schedule, the action megastar made time to meet with a very important Dubai megastar, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

A fan account, F3, shared a picture of the duo together, with both seen to be happily smiling for the camera. No further information has been given about the meeting, although we’d have loved to have been a fly on the wall to hear what they chatted about!

No stranger to Dubai, Chan was last in the country for filming three years ago, when he shot Kung Fu Yoga, directed by Stanley Tong (who is also directing this time around).

Since his arrival, the action hero has been producing scenes of the Dubai part of the movie, and also finding time to explore the Dubai Smart Police Station.

Speaking at a press conference, he said, “I am happy to be back in Dubai three years after the shooting of Kung Fu Yoga. Dubai is a good place to film. This is why I have come back. I will come back again and again in the future.”

Filming for Vanguard is expecting to wrap up in Dubai on Friday March 22.
