Say g’day to a whole host of Australian wildlife at the City Walk attraction…

Say g’day to some Aussie wildlife as Green Planet Dubai is set to welcome some brand new residents from down under.

Visitors to Green Planet, the tropical rainforest housed in a glass dome in City Walk, will now be able to check out a host of new inhabitants at The Australian Walkabout.

As well as new turtles, frogs, spiders and lizards, the new additions also include the arrival of wallabies. Found in the largest exhibition in The Australian Walkabout, you’ll be able to get close enough to touch the wallabies as you wander amongst the cave and trees.

Be sure to look out for the Goanna Lizard in the abandoned plane or even visit an Australian Carpet Python hiding in an abandoned workshop.

You’ll also get to see white tree frogs, a redback spider and a colourful array of birds, including parakeets, cockatiels, cockatoos and kookaburras, too.

The Australian Walkabout aims to teach visitors about the eco-systems and landscapes of the Australian Outback.

As well as housing over 3000 tropical plants and animals, The Green Planet is also home to a number of other experiences such as The Sloth Encounter, The Bat Cave and The Sugar Glider Encounter.

Ticket prices start from Dhs99 on the door, or Dhs89 online. You’ll need to pay an additional fee for certain experiences such as The Sloth Encounter and Bat Cave.
