1. Matagi Mantra at Matagi

Fans of pan-Asian cuisine will love the new brunch at Matagi in Emerald Palace Kempinski. Matagi Mantra offers two or three hours of sharing-style dishes alongside signature cocktails. The four-course menu includes sashimi and maki, foie gras wagyu gyoza, Phoenix wagyu ribeye and yakitori followed by mikan cheesecake and coconut mousse with mango sorbet. 2. DXB Experiments presents WTF Music Rebels

This weekend, #DXBExperiments takes you on a musical journey through the decades. From Wednesday May 1 to Friday May 3, pick a seat at the dinner table where each course is paired with not only a creative cocktail, but also an era of music. Start with the 1960s and the icon that is Aretha Franklin, and dine your way through the decades to finish with legendary band Nirvana in the 1990s. Taking place this weekend, the brunch will pause and restart after Ramadan.

3. 7 by Skorpeus

‘7’ is the immersive dramatic dinner which will both surprise and entertain you throughout the evening. This theatrical experience give a new meaning to the idea of ‘dinner and a show’. Indulge in a set menu of multiple courses along with creative cocktails and selection of other drinks. Based around the seven forbidden values, the performance is a powerful portrayal which will keep you guessing. This weekend will also feature performances from Layla Kardan. Booking required.

4. TGIT at McGettigan’s JLT

Kick off your weekends at McGettigans with their TGIT Thursday evening brunch. The party starts at 8.30pm and runs until 11.30pm with free-flowing beverages and a three course meal of McGettigan’s classic pub grub. 5. Club Inc at Zero Gravity

Every Thursday, Zero Gravity serves up a four-hour package of unlimited food and drink from 8pm to 12am for a bargain Dhs199. Guests are welcome to come and go as they like through the night, whether you’re heading there pre-night out, or planning on spending all four hours in the venue. Kickstart your evening with a visit to ‘Eat Street’, where the team of chefs will be serving up street food bites such as noodles, pizzas, hot dogs and burgers as well as sweet treats such as cotton candy. There’s also a fairground themed garden, with street artists performing between Giant Jenga, Connect 4, ping pong tables and basketball hoops.

6. Wok & Roll at Mr Miyagi’s

The ever-popular, Asian hotspot Mr Miyagi’s has an evening brunch packed with live entertainment, karaoke, glitter stations, games, beer and prosecco pong and plenty more. Enjoy five courses of Miyagi’s signature dishes and three-hours of unlimited beverages to get you in the party spirit.

JBR Scottish pub, Copper Dog, has launched a new evening brunch happening every Thursday from 8pm to 11pm. Expect an array of authentic pub grub including sliders, nachos, ribs and wings, all washed down with beer, wine, cocktails or spirits. There’s a live band playing before DJ Andy Swift kicks off the party into the evening, you can also enjoy games of pool or beer pong in the games room.

8. Thank brunch it’s Thursday at Q43

Thursday night brunching at Q43 involves three hours of free-flowing beverages and three courses for Dhs199. If that’s not enough you can extend your drinks package by an hour for Dhs99. The menu is specially curated featuring dishes such as crudites and homemade pita, hummus and coriander dip, salmon ceviche, calamari, and DIY tacos. The resident DJ spins the latest jams all night so you’ll be up on your feet in no time.

Publique, the Alpine-themed restaurant in the Madinat Jumeirah, have an evening brunch package that runs from Saturday to Thursday from 8pm to 11pm. The cost is Dhs345 for three hours with a minimum booking of four guests. All brunch groups will get an ‘instructor’ that will guide them through the authentic alpine journey. A selection of starters will be served directly to the table, each guest can then choose a main of their choice, followed by cheese raclette and chocolate fondue to share, and wash it down with unlimited house beverages.

13. Blushing Dragon at Karma Kafe

Bar Rumba, hosts a weekly Chino Latino inspired Supper Club every Thursday. Dishes such as sushi, adobe chicken with avocado purée, glazed sweet potato and crispy calamari are served to the table, paired with wines, beers and spirits. It kicks off at 9pm, with food served until 11pm and drinks until 1am.
