1. Enjoy a pint for Dhs1
Had a stressful week at work? Make your way to The Scene by Simon Rimmer on Yas Island to enjoy a pint or G&T for just Dhs1 – yes, you read that right – when you purchase any main meal. On the menu, expect an extensive vegetarian and vegan offering, as well as hearty British classics. 2. Ladies, head to Yas Waterworld for a day away from the boys
Ladies, this Thursday, head to Yas Waterworld for Ladies Season where the entire park will be dedicated exclusively for you. Try out the exhilarating rides and slides, explore the park, or just relax and unwind knowing that there will be no boys around. At sunset, you can even take part in an aqua Zumba classes in the Amwaj Wave Pool that comes with a live female DJ. The venue won Favourite Ladies’ Night at the What’s On Awards last year for the event.

3. Dine at Hakkasan
Have a dietary preference or just simply seeking healthier dining choices? Head to Hakkasan Abu Dhabi to try out their specialty menus (there are four!). The menu scater to vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free and shellfish free dietary requirements, for those with intolerances. Tuck into the long-standing favourites such as Peking duck, supreme dim sum platter, or the vegetarian steamed dim sim platter.

4. Check out Sparky’s VR Zone
The Mushirf Mall in Abu Dhabi is now home to Sparky’s Virtual Reality Zone. The state of the art technology you’ll find here is the first of its kind in the UAE, and there are gaming zones such as Chimpact World Rally, a fun racing simulator game, flying in space with Delta Zero, and Swimming with Humpbacks. Need a break from VR? Check out the bowling alley, ice rink, 4D cinema, arcade games and rides that the whole family can enjoy.

5. Make sushi like a pro
Learn how to roll rice like a professional with the Southern Sun Abu Dhabi’s team of master chefs at Kahraman. Get all the guidance you need to capably create sushi and temari, the colourful, ball-shaped sushi canapes from Kyoto. The masterclass last three hours, and the sessions is held on the last Saturday of every month, or on request for private groups.

6. Take a perfume masterclass
Ever wondered how perfume is made? Well, sign up for a perfume masterclass with Lili Aromatherapy and you can find out. You’ll even be able to prepare your very own 50ml perfume that you can take home with you. The event will take place at ArtHub, World Trade Center Mall, Abu Dhabi, and costs Dhs350.
