This looks like a brilliant new addition to Dubai’s underground scene…

If you’re into underground events with a big difference, you’ll want to hold Thursday July 4 free in your diary – as there’s a massive new event coming to Dubai Studio City.

Named The Grid, the new underground party will be held monthly and promises a stellar line up of dance artists at each one.

There is a definite air of mystery around the venue, and so far all we know is that the The Grid will be held in a 50,000 square foot warehouse in Studio City. Although details of the event are being kept tightly under wraps, the team behind the event are promising a ‘truly transformative experience’, complete with immersive technology and a state of the art sound system.

Presented by event promoters Nobox, the event will have capacity for up to 5,000 partygoers.

The event is strictly over 21s, and although early bird tickets have already sold out, you can still get regular tickets online from Dhs150, or Dhs200 on the door.

The first line-up will see resident Dubai DJ Josephine De Retour warm up the crowd from 7.30pm, with English ‘Jedi’ DJ, James Zabiela; German techno duo, Teenage Mutants, Swedish ‘Circle of Live’ artist, Sebastian Mullaert and founder of The Grid, MadLou all on the bill.

We can’t wait to check this out.
