1. See the stunning light and laser show at Festival City

If you haven’t already seen IMAGINE, the incredible light and laser show that kicks off in Dubai Festival City each night then it’s definitely one to add to the bucket-list. The spine-tingling music to the iconic show has proved so popular that the music is now available to download on streaming-giant, Spotify. The show combines light, lasers, fire and water to put on an epic performance and it’s free for all to watch.

2. Tuck into a two-for-one roast

If you’ve still got that weekend feeling, head to Reform Social Bar and Grill for a delicious loaded roast dinner. On Sundays, you can get two roast dinners for the price of one where you can choose from chicken for Dhs100 (full price) or beef for Dhs125 (full price). There’s also a daily happy hour from 12pm to 7pm, with selected house drinks for Dhs33. That’s one way to warm up to the work week.

3. Check out this new Internet City hangout

Hi Five is the brand new rooftop restaurant and lounge in Dubai Internet City. As well as business lunches and a stellar Thursday ladies’ night, they also have a weekly happy hour from 5pm to 8pm, where selected house beverages are a wallet-friendly Dhs25. 4. Tuck into a steak night

5. Enjoy Italian aperitivo at a cosy spot

7. Shake up your post-work evening drinks

If you’re looking for something a bit different to celebrate the (almost) weekend, check out Japanese restaurant ONI, where they throw their Nomikai evening daily. 8. Get your first week free at this cycling class

Thinking of kickstarting a new exercise regime? Why not give Cycle Bar a go?
