Yes, apparently ‘flexitarianism’ is a thing…

Looking to adopt a more plant-based diet but don’t know where to start? This could be it, as health-food company Flexi Kitchen have just launched their brand new food delivery service in Dubai.

What is a ‘Flexitarian’ we hear you ask?

It identifies as a diet that is ‘mostly vegetarian but sometimes includes meat, fish or poultry’ and encourages budding flexitarians to adapt a diet largely focused on fruit and vegetables.

One of the biggest, most inescapable debates of the moment is the health benefits of changing your diet. Do you go Vegan? Vegetarian? Dairy? No Dairy? Paleo? There’s so many options to choose from that it can be daunting even to make a small diet change. This is where Flexi-Kitchen comes in, with the aim to support you to go meat-free, two to three times a week.

Their menu consists of nutritious and wholesome dishes for you to try, from kickstarting your day with Avo on Toast (Dhs30) or Overnight Oats (Dhs28), to nourishing salad bowls like Super Chicken (Dhs42) and Vegan Heaven (Dhs39) to mains like Grilled Salmon (Dhs58). They also do a beyond meat vegan burger (Dhs42), which is said to look and taste exactly like its beef counterpart.

If you just want to top up your daily nutrient intake, you can choose from four Organic Press Juices; Tropical, Beet it, Go Ginger and greens-packed 9 Essentials.

Delivery areas will initially cover Business Bay, Bay Square, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Design District, Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall and nearby places including Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Motor City and Sports City. Delivery will be available to the Marina and JLT Areas at the beginning of August.
