Here are the big nights out happening in Dubai this week…

Tuesday: Head to a new ladies’ night at Industrial Avenue

The Shoreditch, the new speakeasy bar at underground-style bar Industrial Avenue are launching their new ‘House of Queens’ ladies’ night on Tuesday August 27. From 10pm until midnight there’s an open bar for ladies, and then from midnight onwards, ladies will receive 3 drinks tokens. Music will be a mix of vocal and house disco mixes set to take you back to a girls night out in London’s East End.

Wednesday: See a hip hop DJ spin

If you’re into hip hop and R&B then Mantis is probably where you should be this Wednesday, September 29. Mr. P, one half of the P-Square duo, will be spinning into the early hours. He’s worked with artists such as Akon and Rick Ross so expect some floor filler tunes, plus there’s free drinks for ladies until 12am.

Thursday: Take a trip down memory lane with Westlife

Many a 90’s fangirl (and fanboys) in Dubai have been eagerly awaiting Westlife’s performance at the Coca-Cola Arena on Thursday August 29. Expect to sing along to top hits like Flying Without Wings, Uptown Girl and You Raise Me Up. We know you’ll be busting out those old dance routines too…

Thursday: Party hard at a warehouse rave

If you’re into underground events with a difference, you’ll want to get The Grid on your radar. Their first warehouse rave kicked off in Dubai’s Studio City on Thursday, July 4 and they’re back on Thursday, August 29. This time around, the artist line up includes Nick Warren of The Soundgarden, Noir of Noir Music, Hoolz from Deep Like and The Grid’s very own Madlou. Ravers at the ready.

Friday: See an electronic house DJ spin

Code DXB at Soho Garden has sent the nightlife industry into a spin, and this week sees electronic house DJ, George Fitzgerald take up deck duty. Party-goers can expect a night filled with top tunes that’ll get you in the mood for some serious dancing. It’s free to enter.
