1. Bag yourself some free cocktails

Cool Media City spot Tamanya Terrace have turned themselves into a tropical Tiki tent over summer. In celebration of National Mai Tai day, you’ll be able to get two of the cocktails for free if you turn up wearing something tropical. Shirts, hats, flowers – as long as it’s tropical your drinks are on the house.

2. Ease into the week with a juicy steak deal

3. Get your house and Techno fix

If you’re into your house and techno music (and dare to go out on a Monday), there’s few places better to get your fix in Dubai than Industrial Avenue. The cool underground-style club has just launched its new night, Motto every from 10pm with a rotation of some of Dubai’s coolest house DJs on the decks.

4. Cook up a storm

Think you can handle the heat in the kitchen? The Promenade, Park Hyatt Dubai have recently launched their master cooking classes, which run every Monday night. Cooking classes are themed on the hotels restaurants and will cover cuisines ranging from Italy to Thailand or the Middle East. Packages start from Dhs350 for the non-alcoholic package and Dhs525 for the class plus free flowing house drinks. You’ll need to call ahead to secure your place.

5. Burn some serious energy off at Sky Zone

This brand-new activity park at Ibn Battuta Mall has everything you could need to blow off steam without being outdoors. With a Wipe Out zone, warrior courses, zip line, climbing wall, dodgeball court, trampoline park, toddler zone and giant warped walls, this 35,000 square foot centre is the place to be this summer.

6. Get the girls together for prosecco and pizza

7. Celebrate Tomatina festival

Casa de Tapas embraces true Spanish culture on Wednesday August 28 as it brings The Tomatina Festival to the shores of Dubai. From 6pm onwards, enjoy Tomatina themed drinks and tapas for just Dhs25. 8. Get inspired at a Flow Talks event

The Flow Talks Series is back this Wednesday, August 28. Taking place at Jumeirah Emirates Towers from 12pm to 2pm, you’ll get to listen to some seriously inspiring Emirati women who are paving the way for the next generation. The event is themed on “Women, Icons of Tolerance” and is free to attend.
