The three day festival promises celebrity chefs, cooking demos and live music…

Taste of Abu Dhabi is a culinary festival that has become a must-do event for the capital’s residents. Taking place every November, the du Arena is overrun with celeb chefs, cookery demos, food trucks and live music.

This year’s event takes place from Thursday November 7 to Saturday November 9 and will include musical performances from legendary British reggae band UB40 and Boyzlife (Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden).

A number of celebrity chefs will be in attendance including awarding-winning French chef Jean Christophe Novelli, Australian chef and MasterChef UK judge John Torode, cookbook author and founder of Assia Kitchen, Assia Othman and more.

Master Pâtissier, Eric Lanlard, will run baking masterclasses at the ‘Big Baking Tent’, alongside local and international pastry experts on-hand to give tips to Abu Dhabi’s budding bakers. Additionally, the festival will have a beverage theatre offering cocktail masterclasses for those looking to perfect their mixology skills.

An impressive 15 Abu Dhabi restaurants will be offering samples of their signature menus including Roberto’s, Butcher & Still, Sam-busek, Namak by Kunal Kapur and Dai Pai Dong. Fans of Emirati cuisine will also be able to enjoy a pavilion of UAE treats, while learning about the history and culture of the country.

Music will be provided by local artists and bands including 4TheMusic, Yeah Yeah Nah and DJ Sheps before headliners UB40 take the stage on Thursday November 7 and Boyzlife perform on Friday November 8.
