Gather your girls, these are cinema screenings with strictly no boys allowed…

Ladies’ nights have been an institution for as long as we can remember, but over the years the concepts have expanded across all industries. Gone are the days were ladies’ night just meant three free drinks on a Tuesday, now you can get free drinks every night of the week, spa deals, food offers and even cinema experiences.

Two of our favourites cinemas in Dubai both run ladies’ night events, perfect for a girls get together for movie lovers. Whether you’re a cinema buff who can’t wait to check out the latest blockbusters, or you’re keen for any excuse for a good gossip with the girls, then these cinema nights are the perfect plan for your next ladies’ night.

Roxy Cinemas

Every month Roxy Cinemas hosts a ladies’ night at its City Walk branch, and the next event is planned for Tuesday November 19. There’s a choice of three brand-new movies, each beginning at 7.30pm. From 6.30pm you’ll be able to access the Platinum Plus Lounge, where you can chill with your friends and enjoy canapés before the movie starts.

This Tuesday, choose from Charlie’s Angels, The Good Liar or Poms, where for Dhs99 you can watch the movie from the comfort of the Roxy’s Platinum Plus fully reclinable leather seats. You’ll also get a main meal and mocktail included in the ticket price.

There will also be complimentary polish changes and massages provided by Nbar.

Vox Cinemas

Vox Cinemas also hosts monthly ladies’ nights, at its Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif branches, as well as their Vox Outdoor cinema during the cooler months. Tickets are priced at Dhs80 and include a seat at the chosen movie, plus popcorn and a soft drink as well as a gift bag and vouchers from Victoria’s Secret.
