There’s now even more options for alfresco dining by the water…

Souk Madinat Jumeirah as long been a go-to destination for visitors to Dubai and residents for its bejeweled waterways, stunning views and excellent roster of restaurants.

Its biggest fans might be aware that parts of it have been under construction for some time now, but that construction is now complete, leaving in its place a beautiful new boardwalk.

Souk Boardwalk sits out on the water and acts as an extension of three of Madinat Jumeirah’s restaurants; friendly Italian eatery, Trattoria Toscana, authentic Greek kitchen, Taverna and new speakeasy-style diner, Americano.

Seating up to 250 people at any one time, the new boardwalk brings new options for those looking for alfresco dining in the area. Visitors will have unparalleled views of the iconic Burj Al Arab and easy access to regular Abra rides that will take you around the Madinat Jumeirah Resort.

That’s not all that’s new at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah. You’ll now see loads of traditional Middle-Eastern entertainment at every corner, with live shows six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday. Expect Oud & Handpan drum performers, Alaya Dancers and carpenters, fishermen, falconers and basket weavers around the walkways from 12.30pm to 3.30pm and 5pm to 8pm every day.
