Thursday: Sky 2.0

For the ultimate club night Sky 2.0 is hard to beat. The club was made famous in Beirut and the open-topped Dubai version does not disappoint. Check out their signature Thursday night with crazy pyrotechnics, blasting music and a whole lot of dancing.

Thursday: The Hideout

It might have only been a two-day work week this week but if you’re still looking for somewhere to celebrate post-work without damaging the purse strings, check out The Hideout. On a Thursday they offer a four hour unlimited house drinks package for just Dhs100. This Thursday is the launch of their Christmas edition, so get ready to sing along to some cheesy hits from the 80’s, 90’s and noughties with a few classic Christmas croon-tunes thrown in.

Friday: Kylie Minogue at Emirates Dubai Rugby 7’s

Pop princess Kylie Minogue will headline the 50th Emirates Dubai Rugby 7’s this Friday. Expect to hear some of her biggest hits including Spinning Around, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, On A Night Like This and Love At First Sight.

Friday: Post-Rugby 7’s party at Barasti

Barasti has been named as the official Rugby Sevens After Party 2019, so expect celebrations in true Barasti style if you want to keep the party going. There’ll be some top drinks deals to keep the crowd going and, as the theme of this years’ Sevens is 1970’s, there will be four tribute bands playing. Expect to belt your heart out and dance the night away to nostalgic favourites, from an Abba tribute and La Freak so Chic (12am to 1am) as well as Queen and Elton John tribute acts. There’ll be buses running to and from Barasti and the Seven’s stadium all day.

Friday: Wiley at Sole DXB

The eagerly-anticipated urban streetwear festival Sole DXB returns to Dubai this weekend, running from Thursday December 5 to Saturday December 7. There’s a whole roster of artists set to perform throughout the weekend but if you’re a big fan of British MC grime rapper, Wiley, head down on Friday. He’s probably most famous for his 2008 hit Wearing My Rolex and most recently Boasty with Sean Paul, Stefflon Don and Idris Elba.

Friday: Lil Pump at BASE Dubai

American rapper Lil Pump, famous for the hit Gucci Gang will be bringing the heat to Base Dubai on Friday, December 6. He’s collaborated with the likes of Diplo, French Montana, Lil Wayne, Offset and Quavo – and we’re sure his set will be full of some of his most well known tracks.

Friday: Brand new Soho Garden Brunch & Afterparty

Soho Garden has fast-cemented itself as a go-to destination in Dubai, whether you’re dining, partying or doing a bit of both. They’re launching their brand new brunch on Friday December 6 with free-flowing drinks, unlimited trips to the buffet and some top-class entertainment. Make sure you stick around for the after-party at Cafe Mambo, which will have a headline set from DJ Meduza.

Friday: Burna Boy at Drai’s Dubai

Nigerian singer Burna Boy – who’s collaborated with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Jorja Smith – will take to Drai’s famous catwalk stage on Friday December 6. He’ll likely perform some of his biggest hits including Like to PartyShobeedo and Burn Identity. It’s free entry for ladies with free-flowing drinks until 1am. Guys will need to go to Virgin Megastore for their tickets, priced at Dhs200 inclusive of two house drinks.

People went wild when it was announced that American Hip Hop group Wu-Tang Clan were to be the headline artists at Sole DXB this year. Performing on Saturday, December 7, the New York City natives will cover some of their biggest tracks at the edgy urban streetwear festival.
