Andaz Dubai The Palm is now open on Palm Jumeirah
The five-star hotel will have a Japanese restaurant and a beach club…
Andaz Dubai The Palm, the first Andaz property in Dubai and second in the UAE, has officially opened its doors. The five-star, Hyatt-owned concept, located on Palm Jumeirah, has five food and beverage outlets, a luxury spa with adults only pool facilities and private access to the beach.
Currently only the all-day dining restaurant, The Locale, is open, with the others to follow early next year. The Locale offers dishes inspired by the flavours of Dubai, from ‘the oldest kebab house to the Jumeirah’s favourite fish shack’.
The soon-to-open Hanami will be a 15th floor Japanese eatery, with an outdoor terrace offering city views. KnoX is described as an ‘underground playroom’, a cocktail bar with industrial design and vibrant furniture.
La Coco is a beach club, named after the venue’s much-loved macaw, and due to open in the second half of 2020. There’s also The Andaz Lounge, the hotel’s ‘anti-office’ which is filled with books and large tables, as well as cosy nooks and a fully serviced bar.

The 217-room property includes 34 lavish suites, which have been designed with a colourful contemporary aesthetic, inspired by Emirati culture. On the 14th floor you’ll find Ora, Andaz’s wellness spa, a state of the art gym and Cabana, an adults-only private pool.
There’s a heavy focus on art and design throughout this hotel, and Andaz Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi, which opened in 2018. Andaz Dubai The Palm worked with local artists to ensure that the property reflects the spirit of the city.
