Some Dubai students will get a four-week winter break this year
For schools following the Ministry curriculum, pupils will enjoy a four-week break…
Dubai’s Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced the 2019-2020 winter school holiday dates for certain schools via their official Twitter page.
For pupils attending schools that follow the Ministry’s curriculum, school holidays will run from Sunday December 15, 2019 to Thursday January 9, 2020, giving students a four-week break.
With weekends, this means that students will actually finish for the winter break on Friday December 13, 2019 and won’t return to class until Sunday January 12, 2019.

The Ministry of Education confirmed that these calendar dates were for government and private schools that follow the Ministry’s curriculum.
Other private schools will get a three-week break, with the holidays starting on Sunday December 15, 2019 and classes resuming on Sunday January 5 2020, as confirmed by the Knowledge and Human Authority (KHDA).
