Emirates Airline launches discount for students and their families

Students and their families can benefit from the discount when booking before October 31…

As Dubai students make their way overseas to study, many will be feeling the strain of being separated from their families and friends for a while. Emirates Airline hopes to ease that difficulty by launching a year-long student discount offer for both students and their families, if they are accompanying the student ID holder.

Flights booked to and from anywhere in the world before October 31 will receive special discounts on economy and business class fares. Student will also be able to claim additional baggage on top of the standard allowance, and a free date change until seven days before travel.

Use the promo code STUDENT to redeem 10 per cent off economy class flights or 5 per cent off business class flights. All tickets have a maximum stay validity of 12 months and you’ll need to show a valid student ID or school acceptance letter at check-in.

You’ll even get an extra 10 kilograms onto your baggage allowance so you can pack those extra books, or special mementos to remind you of home while you’re away. You can use the discount to fly to any of emirates’ current 80 destinations, provided that the destination country is receiving travellers.

Emirates requires a recent negative Covid-19 PCR test certificate for all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from.

Customers can also benefit from free cover for Covid-19 related medical expenses should they be diagnosed with the virus during their trip. The cover is valid for the first 31 days of the trip and available on flights up until October 31.
