A cute neighbourhood Italian restaurant has opened in JBR

We’re spoiled for choice when it comes to fine dining in Dubai, but for those days when you want to relax in a friendly neighbourhood eatery and tuck into some carby goodness, say hello to JBR’s newest Italian restaurant, Buono Buono.

The restaurant on The Walk, JBR location isn’t the only chance to get a slice of this, as a branch of Buono Buono has also opened on Sheikh Zayed Road. Expect a retro sort of vibe from both restaurants, with brightly coloured patterns on the floor and walls, and bright yellow chairs dotted around.

Buono Buono is less about the fuss and frills and more about giving you that relaxed and hearty Italian experience with a welcoming restaurant environment and a menu bursting with traditional Italian favourites such as pizza and pasta.

To start, there’s a range of authentic antipasti, perfect for sharing, such as burrata, crispy fried shrimps or beef meatballs. For bruschetta lovers, this Italian restaurant serves up three different varieties of the signature Italian dish.

For those who dream about pasta, there’s no less than 15 varieties of the humble dish on the menu, from traditional lasagne and bolognese to gorgonzola and walnut gnocchi or ricotta and spinach ravioli with a butter and sage sauce.

Of course, pizzas are a big deal too and these sixteen different types come fully-loaded. Keep it simple with a spicy beef diavola or four cheese ‘quattro formaggi’ or do it in style with a rich truffle ‘tartufo’ pizza or the ‘frutti di mare’, loaded with seafood.

The restaurant is unlicensed but serves up a range of coffees and mocktails.
