Sometimes, all you need to end your weekend is a well-deserved Sunday lunch at a great restaurant. In this case, we are talking lunch at the award-winning Japanese restaurant, Akira Back at W Dubai – The Palm located on the fifth-floor offering stunning views of Palm Jumeirah and the Marina skyline.

The deal was previously enjoyed by diners on Saturday, but guests can now enjoy the deal on Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.

So, what do you get in the deal?

Well, you’ll start off with three starters. There are hot and cold dishes to choose from including creamy spinach salad, eggplant miso, lobster tempura or AB tacos.

Once you’re all warmed up, you’ll dig into mains. You can pick one sushi or sashimi dish in addition to one main course that includes miso black cod or 48-hour short rib which is served up with root veggies.

For a sweet treat to the delicious meal, there’s harumaki (a crispy roll with gelato on the side) or spice souq (a light sponge cake with syrup and toppings).

With the sweet 25 per cent discount, it works out to Dhs296.25 for the soft drinks package, Dhs371.25 for the house package and Dhs521.25 to indulge with bubbly. Bringing the little ones? If they are under 12, they can eat for free from the kids’ menu. There’s even a new ‘Kids Corner’ to keep them entertained all afternoon starting from January 30.
