All the best bits from the first What's On Lock In of 2022
The action-packed weekend at Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah did not disappoint…
Every few months, we like to invite you, our wonderful readers, to join us for the staycation of all staycations. We team up with a brilliant new hotel to bring you a morning of pampering, brunch, games, an after-party, an overnight stay, breakfast, and late check-out. And for the first What’s On Lock In of 2022, we headed to Ras Al Khaimah for the first time, to the newly opened Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah Al Marjan Island. Bubbles were popped. Couples were tested over Tep Factor’s brilliant brunch games. Moves were busted at the sunset beach party. Take a little look at what went down here:
At orientation, Beauty Spot were on hand to provide pre-brunch pampering, guests could book sessions of watersports and express massages at the spa, and browse artworks thanks to a pop-up from fine artist Afshan Quraishi.
Then, everyone reconvened at the open-air Seafood Shack, for a brunch menu of – unsurprisingly – fresh seafood, all washed down with glasses of wine, bubbles and fruity cocktails. Once that wrapped up and the sun started to set, it was down to the beach for sundowners and dancing on the sand, with a DJ spinning a set that ranged from Bollywood hits to top Irish tunes. And you loved every minute of it.
The best part? We ended the night with a comfy hotel stay within the contemporary guest rooms of the hotel, followed by a big buffet breakfast, then more watersports, sunbathing at the pool and beach, and a late check-out even though we really, really didn’t want to leave…
