As we say goodbye to June we’re saying goodbye to the What’s On birthday burger – so get down to Slaw ASAP to try it while you can. Elsewhere, we’ve got a new gallery space, DIFC’s got a cool new bar, and there’s a new venue from top Aussie bloke Tom Arnel to check out. So much newness.

Here are the best things to do in Dubai this week.

Monday June 27

Kickstart your week with a healthy meal plan

Determined to eat healthy this summer but looking for convenience? Say hello to Meals On Me (MOM), a subscription-based meal prep service. The lunch and dinner plan has something for every mood and taste; from wholesome dishes to Keto, to vegan and vegetarian offerings across a wide range of cuisines including Arabic, Indian and international dishes. For those looking to start off on a short-term basis, MOM currently offers weekly lunch and dinner plans from Dhs140 and longer-term monthly lunch and dinner plans for Dhs520.

Check out the new Bidi Bondi, The Byron Bathers Club

Byron Bathers Club

Restaurateur and all-round bonzer Aussie bloke Tom Arnel (of Tom & Serg fame) has taken over the space of Bidi Bondi, and is replacing it with a new Aussie-inspired multi-concept called The Byron Bathers Club, which is now in soft opening. The Byron – as it aims to be affectionately known – will be a seafood focused beachside dining destination offering a la carte breakfasts, lunches and late-night dinners. Taking inspiration from Australia’s celebrity hotspot, Byron Bay, the new concept hopes to become a Palm local offering a range of diverse concepts, including Byron’s Bar & Bistro, Ulu’s Oyster bar and Tigerlily’s Beach. It’s not licensed yet, but alcohol service will start soon.
