As part of the Abu Dhabi Dream Ball fundraising gala…

Read all about it, Emeli Sandé is just one of a cosmos of glittering stars locked in and heading to Abu Dhabi for the fourth Abu Dhabi Dream Ball.

The event takes place on Thursday, November 17 at the W Abu Dhabi — Yas Island, its purpose as always, is to raise funds for a well-deserving cause. This year, the charity in question is Anera, an organisation that has been committed to supporting refugees and vulnerable communities in the Middle East since 1968.

If you fancy a ticket, you’ll need either Dhs25,000 for a VIP table of up to 10 people, or you can buy a solo seat for Dhs2,500. Affordable? Possibly not on a journalist’s salary, but most of the guests below have done pretty well for themselves, and more importantly — the proceeds of course go to charity.

British songstress Sandé, possibly most famous for her massive hit Next to Me, will be joining the cast of performers for the night. Other guests include H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan who’ll be opening the ceremony with a speach. Raya Abirached is hosting the event and there will also be a speech from the charismatic Deepak Chopra.

The guest list doesn’t end there. Also down, and hopefully coming in are son of fashion mogul Elie Saab — Elie Saab Jr, CNBC Anchor Hadley Gamble, ex-Chelsea star John Mikel Obi, and F1 drivers; Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas.

The main event is the silent auction, allowing guests to bid on luxurious items and experiences — donations will also be taken on the night.
