This new Dubai hotel sits on a Lagoon with an artificial wave machine

With Dubai being one of the world’s top travel destinations, the constant flow of new and unique luxury class hotels can feel almost impossible to keep up with. But there are some names that are worth paying special attention to, and when homegrown hospitality brand Vida, drops a fresh vacationing swag palace – that absolutely qualifies.
Their latest entry into the refined living portfolio is Vida Creek Beach, located unsurprisingly along a storied, seductive shoreline of the Dubai Creek Harbour, overlooking the new Lagoon. A manmade leisure cove that will soon feature a future tech-enabled wave generating system, creating a rhythmic ballet of lapping lapis crests.
That means the 99-room hotel automatically comes with some whimsical watery views, close proximity to the wonderous wetlands of the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Park, and the locale’s 6km boardwalk, which breezes past some truly unmissable verdant vistas of its own.

Inside the grounds of the hotel itself, you’ll find plenty more to evoke awe.
Dining adventures include The Courtyard, an international all-day diner that offers both indoor and outdoor seating; the Stage2 lobby lounge; Origins, the statement eaterie with an expansive terrace offering magnetic views of the Canal and Dubai Creek; and, coming soon, Float Beach Lounge, a Lagoon-adjacent luxurious venue, dealing in wood-fired pizza, and handcrafted cocktails.
Art and sophisticated design are given centre stage in the hotel, with themes that venerate the bronze age of Arabia, collections of creative works that celebrate Emirati culture and touches of art deco glamour shared unsparingly throughout.
