The highest 360-degree sky pool in the Northern Emirates…

There’s a lot going on at Al Marjan Island, one of the UAE’s premiere luxury leisure island hubs. It’s already home to a considerable quantity of existing luxury-class hotels, restaurants and grand branded residences. This current extent includes two existing Hilton properties (DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island and Hampton By Hilton Marjan Island), Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah, Marjan Island, and that stalwart of the all-inclusive family pool rave, Rixos Bab Al Bahr.

Announced on Tuesday, December 19 2023 by master RAK developer Marjan – this glittering Gulf pearl will soon be home to a new “iconic new landmark” 5-star Hilton hotel. We don’t know which brand from within the Hilton group it will be. It could be LXR for example, or Canopy, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, Signia, Curio or any of the other names representing the increasingly fractal umbrella of resort experiences.

There are more likely candidates given the location, the star rating, the architects and those that remain after the process of eliminating other Hilton brands in the immediate locale. But we’ll have to wait for official confirmation.

What we know so far

Built by M Hospitality, the new Hilton will feature 410 rooms, of those 350 will belong to a hotel and 60 will be designated as exclusive residences. As teased in the title, it’ll provide elevated tower-top, flop and drop goals to leisure seekers with the Northern Emirates’ highest 360-degree sky pool. A further wander through the imagined future floorplan leads us to an executive lounge, three F&B outlets, recreational facilities and a convention centre.

Talking about the new project Arch. Abdulla Al Abdouli, Chief Executive Officer, Marjan, said: “The latest Hilton property will usher in a new era of luxury living on Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island…”

“We are confident that M Hospitality’s latest Hilton-backed property will significantly elevate the lifestyles of our discerning clientele.”
