You only have until Tuesday, May 29 to catch Isshaq Ismail’s exhibition Beyond the Fence, Begins the Sky at Efie Gallery. The exhibition features his first collection of monochromatic works that uses multiple hues of blue. By portraying characters with complicated and conflicting feelings against a variety of serene and utopian landscapes, this exhibition seeks to question perceptions about beauty while also taking into account the hardships these individuals must face.

A vibrant Australian bakery arrives on a rooftop in Dubai, bringing ingredients and passion from the shores of Palestine. The bakers are known for their vivacious attitude, frequently jiving away while preparing their sweet Palestinian goods. Expect knafeh, Arabic ice cream, Moroccan tea and homemade lemonade on their rooftop at the Keturah Reserve this May.

Boogie the night away with DJ Black Coffee

Grammy Award-winning DJ Black Coffee is no stranger to Dubai, having performed in the city on many occasions. But for one final event this season he’ll be headlining at a new venue, gracing the decks of a new White Dubai pop-up Friday May 26. Black Coffee will take the stage as the headlining act and will be preceded by Paul Svenson, Fredrick Stone and Alex Twin for their warm-up.
