Morgan Jay, Russell Peters, Mo Amer and Maz Jobrani to headline Abu Dhabi Comedy Season
The 2026 edition promises some serious belly laughs
Major lols incoming: the first four acts for the 2026 Abu Dhabi Comedy Season have just been announced, and it’s sure to have you in stitches. Taking place over October and November, the third edition of the capital’s biggest infusion of all things funny returns with Mo Amer, Maz Jobrani, Morgan Jay and Russell Peters all headlining.
Pre-sale tickets are now available for Mastercard and Live Nation customers, with general ticket sales for the Mo Amer and Maz Jobrani shows starting at 12pm on Wednesday July 29. Tickets for Russell Peters and Morgan Jay are already on sale, priced from Dhs 250 for Russell Peters and Dhs275 for Morgan Jay.

Morgan Jay
After reaching the semifinals of NBC’s Bring the Funny, LA-based comedian and performer Morgan Jay rose to notoriety on social media with viral clips of his signature use of auto-tuned audience participation. His smooth vocals, clever punchlines, and crowd-driven comedy have helped him to sell out international tours and become one of the most distinctive voices in modern comedy.

Russell Peters

A regular face on the UAE’s comedy scene, Russell Peters has become a global comedic phenomenon, becoming the first comedian in history to sell out London’s O2 Arena and Madison Square Garden in New York. His high-energy observational humour, regular crowd interaction, and cultural satire, his unique talent for observing and commenting on cultural differences with sharp, relatable and humorous honesty has earned him a legion of worldwide fans.

Mo Amer
Born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents, Mo Amer has become one of the most distinctive voices in comedy today. With magnetic storytelling, quick wit, and fearless honesty, Amer draws from his own life, mining immigration, identity, and the absurdity of navigating two worlds to craft comedy that is as thought-provoking as it is hilarious.

Maz Jobrani
Iranian-American comedian Maz Jobrani has built a career turning cultural misunderstandings, immigrant experiences, and everyday family dynamics into universally relatable comedy.
