Survive a real life zombie apocalypse
Ever wanted to take part in a zombie apocalypse, but without the fear of imminent death? Well now you can.
We’ve all wondered at one point or another what we’d do in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Where we’d hide, who we’d take with us, our weapon of choice… however, we’ve never had the opportunity to implement any of it, but now we will. From April 7 to 9, the Zombie Challenge is coming to Dubai.
How does it work? Well for three days, Wonderland Theme and Water Park has been booked out – serving as the perfect stage for your post-zombie-apocalypse nightmare. Ever seen the movie Zombieland? It’s a similar set-up to the final scene from that.

You can purchase a ticket as either a survivor or a zombie, you can also buy a combo ticket that allows you to play two separate games in each role.
The Zombie Challenge will also feature over 30 actors adding to the zombie factor.

Each role follows a different set of rules, which are as follows:
Survivors
Groups of survivors will be made up of approximately 15 people.
You must not touch the zombies, and must avoid letting them touch you by either running or hiding (no fighting, sorry).
If a zombie touches you, you become ‘infected’, meaning you’ll face a penalty to slow down your progress.
You have to wear a light-coloured t-shirt, as well as clothes that you can run in – no long or loose clothing. Sandals, open-toed and high-heeled shoes are forbidden, as well as jewelry.
Each survivor has to carry a backpack that is at least half empty.

Zombies
Infect survivors by ‘tagging’ them. Authorised areas of contact are: arms, shoulders, calves and back.
Zombies will undergo ‘monster training’ before the challenge, with a host of professional makeup artists to help them look the part.
You’re allowed to have your clothes dirtied and torn (with your authorisation) when undergoing your zombie transformation at the hands of special effects artists.
Feel free to create your own costumes or to do your own zombie makeup.

If you want to participate with a group, make sure everyone buys tickets for the same date and time.
Outside drinks are not permitted, water will be provided.
