Going to Dubai Opera? Here's how to score a cheaper meal
Off to the opera? Looks like you’re set for a swanky night.

There’s no set menu, but those who choose to dine at the Armani/Amal before a Dubai Opera show can tuck into their trademark Indian cuisine while enjoying 20 per cent off food and soft drinks.

Armani/Hashi
This is one of the best joints in town if you want to stuff yourself full of fancy sushi. Hashi offers up traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine, coupled with a resident DJ and views of the Dubai Fountain.
If you’re off to the opera, enjoy 20 per cent off a la carte food and soft drinks.

Asado at The Palace Downtown Dubai
If Southern American fare is your fave, Argentinian hotspot Asado is the place to be. For Dubai Opera-goers, there’ll be a set menu on show nights, with an added 15 per cent off adult grape juice if you fancy a beverage before the show.

At.mosphere Burj Khalifa
You’ve forked out for Dubai Opera tickets already, so you might as well go the whole hog. Head up to the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa for some pre-show European cuisine accompanied by some pretty nifty views.
There’ll be a tailor-made Dubai Opera two and three-course menu.

La Serre Bistro & Boulangerie
You’re off to a show, you’re looking good – you deserve a glitzy pre-show nibble. At Dhs150 per person, La Serre Boulangerie’s pre-show menu consists of crunchy salad with Emmental cheese, green apple and caramelised walnuts, or buffalo mozzarella bruschetta with truffle dressing for starters.
For main, there’s either baked grouper with provençale ratatouille or grilled chicken supreme, creamy mushrooms and spaetzle, with a daily fresh pastry from the display for dessert.

Thai food tickle your fancy? You’re in luck. Thiptara are offering up Dubai Opera-exclusive set menus starting at 6pm on show nights onwards. Oh, and if you’re looking for a wee tipple before an evening of theatre, premium grape beverages are 15 per cent off.
