QE2 to host the next edition of Arab Fashion Week
The sixth edition of the event will be hosted onboard the legendary liner…
It’s been hosted at glamourous locations including Meydan and The St Regis Dubai, but there’s a brand new location for the next installment of Arab Fashion Week, as it’s set to be hosted onboard the recently opened QE2.
The news comes after the Arab Fashion Council, who organise the event, staged the first ever Arab Fashion Week in Riyadh a few weeks ago.
Described as ‘the world’s first floating fashion week’, the four days of shows will run from May 9 to May 12.

The event will feature 18 designers from more than 13 countries, who will all be presenting their latest designs for Resort 2018 and Ready Couture. Several industry panels will happen over the event, as well as a lavish awards ceremony which will finish up the proceedings on the evening of Saturday May 12.
It’s the latest unique event to be hosted onboard the ocean liner, which last weekend played host to the official Blue Marlin after party, seven floors below deck in The Hatch (located in the ship’s engine room).
