Legendary Greek composer Yanni will perform in the UAE this autumn.

A regular entertainer in the Middle East, the 60-year-old is well known for his theatrical shows where he usually leads a large orchestra from his piano in tremendous fashion, and his previous trip to Dubai in 2013 was a prime example of that. The talented live performer took to the stage in front of the iconic Burj Khalifa for a spectacular event complete with fireworks and choreographed fountain display.

Famous for blending jazz, classical, soft rock and world music together to create instrumental works of art, Yanni’s special music genre may not have hit the commercial big time, but he has, for decades, received international recognition by creating and producing stunning concerts at historic landmarks around the world.

This time, Yanni travels to Sharjah’s Al-Majaz Amphitheatre for what promises to be a night of incredible world music.

“I still get butterflies before every single show,” said Yanni speaking to The National newspaper. “When we perform for an audience, we get so much love from the audience that makes all of us on the stage feel so motivated and rewarded for our effort and this love and relationship with the audience is what keeps us going with such enthusiasm.”

Check out this personal message from Yanni to his fans:

Fans will witness Yanni and his world-class musicians as they take to the stage to perform his greatest instrumental hits made famous in shows including The Acropolis in Greece, The Taj Mahal in India, The Forbidden City in China and The Royal Albert Hall in the UK.
