Fashion Forward – the definitive fashion platform for the Middle East – has announced that it will return for its fifth edition in Dubai.

A host of back-to-back catwalk shows from some of the Middle East’s best couture and high street designers from near and far will take to the runways from April 10-12, 2015 to showcase their Fall/Winter 2015 collections, while The Garden, a pop up shop housing accessories designers will give members of the public the opportunity to snap up jewellery, shoes and bags from across the region.

Besides The Garden, this three-day fifth edition also includes industry talks by esteemed fashion industry professionals and runway presentations.

The event is once again held in Madinat Jumeirah in partnership with Dubai Design District (D3). Designer registration for this season – both for catwalk designers and accessory designers for The Garden – opens online on November 16.

“We have seen some outstanding design talent grace the FFWD runways, and with each season we see more and more support for our designers from the surrounding region and beyond,” said Bong Guerrero, Founder and CEO of FFWD.

“We believe we have hit on the right balance of catwalk presentations, industry talks and commercial space to make this twice-annual event a viable, sustainable and appealing one for fashion industry professionals across all fields,” he added.

Last month’s Fashion Forward edition saw more than 25 designers bringing their collections to the runway, many of which were locally based or from the wider region, including names such as Michael Cinco, Amato, and Tahir Sultan.
