Did you struggle to choose a favourite between Boyzone and Westlife growing up? Now you don’t have to, as stars from the two hitmakers have banded together – and they’re coming our way.

“When the going gets tough”, why not team up together and try your luck as a new Frankenband?

(We don’t mean it really, we’re huge fans of pleather jackets, meaningful stares into the camera and all those boyband rites of passage – we just couldn’t resist the pun).

In case you didn’t hear, Westlife’s Brian McFadden and Boyzone’s Keith Duffy have joined forces to create Boyzlife, and this ’90s supergroup is heading to the UAE.

The UK shows sold out within hours, and the new 30-date worldwide tour will take in Dubai on November 10 and Abu Dhabi on November 11.

And don’t just expect a bunch of cover versions and synchronised dance moves, oh no – the duo are set to spill on the highs and lows of their ’90s heydays in an “intimate” experience.

There will still be music, of course, with the pair performing a selection of the biggest hits from their previous bands. Our fingers are crossed for Words, Flying Without Wings and No Matter What.

The duo revealed Boyzlife started “as a conversation one evening” and they’re “beyond excited” to reconnect with their international fans.

“Keith and I have always been great friends and we’ve wanted to work together for quite a while now,” said McFadden. “With the amount of stories between us we knew it would make for a great live show, mixed in with a few songs and some fun interaction.”

Tickets for the Hilton Jumeirah Dubai and Hilton Abu Dhabi shows go on sale on July 5, but you can pre-register at boyzlifetour.com.
