Sheikha Mozah Al Maktoum has just piloted her first Emirates passenger flight.

Dubai’s royals can often be spotted out and about — cruising down Sheikh Zayed Road, strolling around town, checking out new restaurants.

Now, there might even be one in the cockpit of your next flight.

Sheikha Mozah Al Maktoum, the first female pilot from Dubai’s royal family, has just completed her first commercial flight with passengers onboard.

The royal recently posted a photo of herself preparing for the Emirates flight from Dubai to Amman, the capital of Jordan.

Sheikha Mozah earned her wings in April last year, after completing the APP First Officer programme at the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy in Phoenix, Arizona.

The trail-blazing aviator often shares photos to Instagram of her aircraft and views from the cockpit.

DUBAI’S SKY-HIGH ROYALS

Sheikha Mozah is not the only Al Maktoum with a passion for planes. Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is an extremely skilled skydiver.

The daughter of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, makes regular leaps out of planes, as documented by her friend, photographer Juan Mayer.

Then of course, there’s Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai — who has no qualms whatsoever about strapping himself to planes, standing on top of them, or just plain jumping out of them.
