This gives us all the warm fuzzies…

It seems there is no problem too big – or small – for Dubai Civil Defence.

The team has once again demonstrated its animal rescue prowess, coming to the aid of an injured gazelle on Dubai street.

According to a post shared to social media by Dubai Civil Defence, a team was heading to the Meydan Racecourse to prepare security ahead of the Dubai World Cup, when they came across the animal, who had been struck by a vehicle.

The quick-thinking team bundled the gazelle onto a tarpaulin, which they used to lift it into the back of their truck.

The gazelle was then taken to Nad Al Sheba Nature Reserve for medical treatment.

Here’s hoping it makes a quick recovery, as the Arabian sand gazelle is listed as “vulnerable” by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.
