This is great news, especially if you’re fasting…

If you’re a car owner in Dubai, Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has an update in parking timings in Dubai for you during Ramadan 2019.

For a month during the Holy Month of Ramadan in Dubai, there will be split parking times. This means that from Saturday to Thursday, parking fees will apply between 8am and 6pm, and between 8pm and midnight.

Parking will be free as usual on Fridays.

It is important to note however, the timings will remain the same in Tecom-regulated zones, with fees applicable from 8am to 6pm. The usual tariffs at multi-level parking lots will be applicable as normal.

The new timings have only changed during the Holy Month of Ramadan (which lasts about a month) and once it’s over, parking will return back to its regular timings.

Dubai Metro timings will remain the same throughout the holy month.

Red Line Stations will operate from Saturday to Wednesday between 5am and midnight, on Thursday from 5am to 1am, and on Friday from 10am to 1am. Green Line Stations will run from 5.30am Saturday through Thursday.

Dubai Tram will run from Saturday to Thursday between 6am to 1am, and on Friday from 9am to 1am.
