The five-bedroom, off-plan property sold for Dhs73 million…

Got a cool Dhs73 million in your back pocket? Then you could be the proud owner of a stunning five-bedroom apartment on Palm Jumeirah… once it’s finished being built.

And you wouldn’t be the only one.

Property Finder has revealed that the most expensive property sold so far in 2019 was in the currently under construction One Palm by Ominyat. The off-plan unit is a 24,000 square foot five-bedroom apartment worth a whopping Dhs73,000,000.

One Palm offers 90 units including three, four and five-bedroom residences and three triplex penthouses. The building is managed by Dorchester Collection, who are on-hand to cater to any need, be it valet and butler service, or booking a table in the most exclusive restaurants.

The apartments, which are sold by invitation-only, are styled by either Japanese designers, Super Potato, or London-based studio, Elicyon, upon the buyers’ discretion. Mahdi Amjad, CEO and executive chairman of Omniyat, said: “Clients are given the choice of two high-end designers to style their villas in the sky, and the showroom captures the high-end finishings and plush furniture that turn these units into exquisite homes.”

The most expensive property sold in Dubai in 2017 was a Dhs102,000,000 triplex penthouse apartment also in One Palm. Omniyat reported that the undisclosed buyer bought the penthouse on the condition that a private 20-metre swimming pool would be built on the roof so that he could swim in private, rather than use one of the building’s three luxury pools.

One Palm’s clubhouse will include a fine-dining restaurant, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indoor cinema, outdoor cinema and barbecue area, residents lounge, children’s pool and playroom and a luxury spa.

If you don’t quite have the Dhs73 million for a five-bedroom, don’t fear, as a three-bedroom unit in the property starts from a more attainable Dhs12.4 million.
