Hurry, there’s only space left for eight more teams…

Cluedo fans, dig out your magnifying glasses and Sherlock Holmes-style coats – a live, citywide Cluedo-style game is coming to Dubai this December.

The self-guided game, titled ‘The Latest Krays’ will take place on Saturday December 7. More than 100 teams are expected to take part as you race to solve the murder-mystery game favourite on an app that takes you around the city.

If you think you’ve got what it takes there’s no time to waste, as there are only tickets for eight more teams of 6. Tickets are priced at Dhs172 per team and are available here. Kids aged 16 and under can join and play for free.

So how does it work?

Brought to you by British-based CluedUpp games, the murder mystery will unfold via an app on your smart phone. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be sent an email a couple of weeks prior telling you where to meet on the day. Then the rest is up to you, your smartphone and your team of fellow detectives.

You’re invited to really get yourself into character (and in the mind of those you’re chasing) by dressing up in 1960’s London-style outfits, with prize up for grabs for the best dressed.

Prizes will be awarded to the fastest team, best team picture, best team name, best little detective (for children who take part) and best k-9 detective (so you can bring your furry friends with you).

So, get the savviest members of your friends and family together, we reckon there’ll be some serious Cluedo buffs taking part…
