Looking for a top place to watch sports or head for a casual bite to eat in Dubai? We know of just the place. TJ’s, the friendly neighbourhood sports cafe in Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers has just reopened its doors.

With a cool industrial-chic design, with high tables, floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace, this ground-floor spot is the perfect casual hangout venue, whether you’re visiting for post-work drinks or to watch the sport.

It’s a hearty affair when it comes to the menu, with sloppy nachos, vegetarian and non-vegetarian burgers, steak and mushroom pie, Durban bunny chow, pizzas and fish n chips, with spicy barbeque chicken wings and The TJ’s dirty burger.

If you are there to watch sport, you’ll be able to catch all of the action on the venue’s three huge televisions, which will display cricket, football, and Formula 1, with excellent sound quality, so you don’t have to miss a thing. 

TJ’s will be open from 11am to 1am on weekdays, and is open until 2am on weekends. An eight-hour happy hour runs every day with 50 percent off selected beverages. There’s also a business lunch deal at a wallet-friendly Dhs59.

On Mondays, there’s a gent’s night deal, with five drinks for Dhs99 and 30 percent off food. A weekend brunch is also lunching. Said to be a ‘leisurely afternoon’, everyone’s invited, from groups of friends to families with kids.

Dishes include sticky toffee pudding, apple crumble and custard, or Eton Mess you have ever had. Via The Entertainer and Let’s DXB, diners can snap up the buy one, get one offer on the sparkling package, priced at AED 329.
