The Crown Prince dined at one of our favourite haunts over the weekend…

Sheikh Hamdan’s love of dining out at Dubai’s finest restaurants is no secret. The Crown Prince of Dubai was recently snapped dining at TikTok hot spot CZN Burak and Greek eatery Avli by Tashas. And now, this weekend Sheikh Hamdan gathered with friends to share a communal lunch at The Maine Land Brasserie.

The Maine has long been a Dubai favourite for exemplary seafood and steaks, and its latest iteration in the ME by Melia Hotel, in Business Bay, is no exception. In an Instagram post, Sheikh Hamdan can be seen sharing platters of perfectly cooked meats and side dishes of Brussels sprouts and asparagus.

Fazza, as he’s affectionately known, is often snapped at Dubai’s top tables. Along with CZN Burak and Avli by Tashas, he also recently shared a family lunch at Sal, the stunning poolside restaurant at Burj Al Arab.

Here, the menu is a French-Mediterranean affair, brimming with fresh seafood dishes and the sunshine-bright flavours of Southern Europe.

Dubai’s royal family have become serious tastemakers, giving their royal stamp of approval to restaurants across the emirate. Sheikh Mohammed and Sheikh Hamdan in particular have the ability to skyrocket a Dubai restaurant’s popularity as soon as they step through the door.

Regular royal haunts include Asian stunner Shanghai Me and BB Social in DIFC. Greek seems to be a favourite cuisine, with both Sheikh Mohammed and Sheikh Hamdan popping up at Gaia in DIFC, Opso and Ammos.

Sheikh Mohammed is also a frequent visitor to Farzi Cafe in City Walk, known for its cutting-edge Indian cuisine, and Siraj, a sleek, Emirati fusion restaurant in Souk Al Bahar.
